The Mansfield Litter Prevention & Recycling Program will be glad to assist you in providing technical assistance, a product guide for purchasing recycled content products, or any "hands-on" assistance you may need. Staff is available for presentations on the social, environmental, and economic benefits of recycling and buying recycled. We also have available at your request, copies of the ARD logo, and more copies of the pledge for to win local and State prizes, and enter to win the Great American Green Dream House. We have also provided you a sample list of recycled-content products. Please feel free to call 419-755-9669 for more information.

Institute a coordinated approach to buying recycled in district schools

Encourage and coordinate school supply purchases for recycled-content products.

Buy re-refined oil for all school vehicles.

Begin buying recycled content products and supplies such as copier or printer paper, toilet paper, toner cartridges and your letterhead.

Pledge and announce on America Recycles Day, to set aside a minimum percent of procurement funds for the purchase of recycled content products.

Promote through local newspapers or government officials encouraging to buy recycled.

Print America Recycles Day content entry form/pledge card for employees and insert with paychecks.

Begin planning how you can have a "Green Campus".
