Maintenance Department
Overview
The City of Mansfield
Maintenance Department made 1801 repairs during 2000 to Municipal facilities and equipment
in 2000. We are continuing with preventive maintenance work.
Major Project Completed:
Communication (911
Center)
- Remodeled office area for Operations Supervisor, 911 Center and moved phone, CCTV, and computer lines.
Mansfield Municipal
Building / Mansfield Police Department
- Installed new upgrades to the CCTV system in the building
City Garage
- Remodeled Water
Department, gas line, heating, ventilating, installed NO and CO gas detecting sensors at
the 480 Park Avenue East facility.
Neighborhood Youth
Corps
- Installed 42 new window panels and completed electrical service upgrades for new computer lab.
Mansfield Police
Department
- Installed carpeting on 2nd floor office areas of Police Administration.
- Installed Cat. 5 Network cable and tested lines for 1st and 2nd floors for additional equipment for the Crime Lab.
Mansfield Municipal
Building / Fire Station / Airport
- Phone system upgrades were done to Fire Stations 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6, the city garage, and airport.
Sewer Repair
- Completed major
restoration of electrical panels, conduit, wiring, lighting in the vehicle storage area of
the department.
