General Info

Mansfield Central Park

We planned your Mansfield City Parks to be true "people parks" with 33 large and small parks located around the city. You don't have far to go when you want to take a walk, have a picnic, or play your favorite sports. There are acres of beautiful wooded land minutes from downtown. Many parks have baseball diamonds, tennis courts and swings and are right in your neighborhood. So whether it's bicycling or sledding, softball or football, or maybe a nap in the shade, discover and enjoy the many excellent parks here in our city. The parks are utilized for many special events, programs, and activities for the whole family. These include summer concerts in Central Park at the Gazebo, family nights, photography contests, fishing derbies and much more.

Rent A pavilion

Several parks have open and year round enclosed pavilions. Some of the paviliions have kitchen facilities, that can be rented for special occasions. For reservations call (419) 755-9819 or 755-9820.

Park Patrol

The Park Patrol assists visitors, provide information, promote safety and protect the parks. If you need help, or simply need information or directions, ask the Park Patrol. Members are there to serve you.

Share Your Parks Wisely

In recent years, vandalism and abuse to city parks and facilities cost the Parks Department and you, the taxpayer, many thousands of dollars. We need your help to protect these resources. Only by working together can we do this.

Get Involved

You can help by:

  • Using the parks.
  • Keeping the parks clean.
  • Reporting to us any misuse or vandalism of the parks or facilities.
  • Obeying all park ordinances.
  • Taking pride in your parks and city.
